I'm having some fun playing around with various backgrounds for websites or scrapbooking pages and the latest one is based around a chevron pattern, although each of the four background tiles has been given a colour based on types of chocolate.

I hope you like them, and tomorrow I'll write a quick guide on how to use them in your website. Feel free to download these to use in your own website if you like them.

Recently I've started playing around just to have some fun creating backgrounds. It's not a serious effort to create anything new for a template, more so I can practice making tiled backgrounds.

Anyway, I came up with this Moroccan background which I thought I'd put into a zipfile and let you all have for your own web projects of scrappbooking needs. Hope you like them. Download the zipfile here.

New header images for the Pixabella05 template (known as Hawaii for Blogger) have been something I've been meaning to produce, and a few of the people who use this template keep asking for them as well so I'm working on a few.

I'm also working on a new smoky brown theme using the same layout as Pixabella05 and I hope to have that available within the next couple of weeks.

Anyway, here is the new header for the orange version of pixabella05, hope you like it. To download the image simply click the image and when the full size version loads just right click and select save as.

To use the image in your theme, open styleorange.css and look for #logo, then simply change bannerorange.png to this sunburst_squiggle.png

That's it!

I made up a red umbrella for a template design and then decided to upload it to OpenClipart as well.

Because I'm so keen on photography I also love scrapbooking (I used to sell Creative Memories stuff), and the umbrella is something almost all scrapbookers will want for rainy days pages or kids having fun in the water. I hope you like my red umbrella.

I created this in Inkscape so the vector image is in .svg format, but MS Office, OpenOffice, Photoshop etc can all open this and resize it to fit on your page, you could probably also use these programs to change the colors in the umbrella. Or if you're interested, Inkscape is a free drawing package and is easy to learn by following the help tutorials.

This is my last set of gradient navbar images, I'm not sure how popular these have been since nobody has commented but since they took me a few minutes to produce it seemed like an easy thing to make them available for free download.

Adding these to your website is very simple if you already have a navbar, and if you don't, then simply copy the code from Pixabella05. If you don't know much about HTML and CSS, make sure you also read creating a simple HTML webpage that I wrote for beginners. This is the exact HTML code needed. Navbar images are something friends and family always ask me for and rather than just do one off images I thought I'd continue the set I started with my first navbar images zipfile. This new set is frosty.
